Carte blanche to Sébastien Roux and Célia Houdart
In partnership with Maison Diocésaine Saint-Sixte
An island under construction, a labyrinth of lines on an architect’s plan, a copper-gold roof coat. A couple sleeping under the stars on a loggia, Anton Chekhov’s piano in his white dacha.
A series of visions and fictions. Between realism and light somnambulism, « Villa Crimée #3 » is an amplified, spatialized reading of Villa Crimée (ed. P.O.L). The 212 fragments that make up the book, which correspond to the 212 windows of the buildings at 168 rue de Crimée, have become a score performed by students from the Comédie de Reims in a space made up of sound recordings and musical motifs. Voices broadcast through loudspeakers. Combinations and counterpoints.
