For his first appearance in Tunisia, Khyam Allami presents his second solo project Kawalees, exploring modernist electroacoustic approaches to the Oud and Arab maqam. The bewitching timbre of the oud is blended with electronic sounds, microtonal keyboard and percussion, for a journey both intense and gentle.
