#SHAKE_ME is an interactive dance performance focusing on the dancer/spectator relationship, halfway between Laban’s choreographic score experiments and Milgram’s anthropological experiment. Both playful and cruel, #SHAKE_ME questions the uberization of the world through the transfer of responsibilities from humans to machines or algorithms, where the interface acts as a filter for empathy. As a counterpoint, #SHAKE_ME builds a frontal human-to-human relationship throughout the performance, between pleasure and endurance, dancer and spectator. #SHAKE_ME, a satellite project of the PU_P3TS show, questions the body in the all-digital age, in two words: Are we exponential bodies or slave bodies?
Around Frédéric Deslias, Le Clair Obscur brings together a group of artists and developers working at the crossroads between the performing arts and the digital arts. The question of being in computational environments is at the heart of the Clair Obscur’s problematics.
« Through hybrid forms and laboratories, sometimes shows, sometimes performances or installations, we explore both the question of the human being in the 21st century and the future of performance forms. Form is substance. »
