Installation and sound piece based on the Archives de la Parole, accompanying the voice of Léa Moreau
Beyond the historical, linguistic and sociological value of the Archives de la Parole, their aesthetics create a strong emotional impact.
For these voices, masked by the crackle of vinyl, seem fragile and ghostly. They lose their identity, and their resonance echoes our relationship with time. The result is a dialogue between collective and personal memory. These archives act as mirrors, reflecting our own experiences and our own desire to defy time.
Taking place in the Sorbonne’s Galerie des Sciences, a symbolic place steeped in history, the broadcast draws on the space’s particular acoustics to highlight the ghostly aspect of the voices emerging from these archives.
