To take over a corridor is to give meaning to the ephemerality of transition, to take the time to stop in a place of passage, to appreciate its elusive lines and space. Here, however, these flowing lines are slightly distorted, as if a flat perspective were drawn inside a volume, with the planes merging into one another, altering our usually rectilinear wandering. julien beau’s composition underscores this perspective, as illustrated by Arthur, a sound journey constructed of concrete materials and raw electronics. At once alive yet absent, organic yet disembodied, sensitive yet cold, this installation is intended as a passage populated by sounds that are unusual for this space.
