Five days of intensive training for four technical operators from the Tataouine region. With this module we aim to significantly strengthen local technical skills in the field of live sound management. The main objective is to enable the targeted participants to acquire complete mastery of the technical chain of an audio system, from its preparation to its operation in real-life conditions.
Through a combination of theory, practical demonstrations and real-life situations, participants will learn how to prepare, install, configure, operate and dismantle a sound system adapted to different types of events: concerts, DJ sets, live shows or performances.
The course will provide an in-depth understanding of the basics of sound from a theoretical point of view, as well as equipment (microphones, consoles, amplifiers, monitors, speakers, cabling). It will also cover safety rules, as well as methods for adjusting and optimizing acoustics according to venue and technical constraints. Practical exercises will enable participants to experiment with managing an artistic stage, coordinating with stage crews and solving common sound-related problems.
The aim of this training course is to professionalize the local scene, equipping participants with the tools they need to integrate event teams and enhance their employability. Their participation as paid trainees in the next edition of the E-FEST festival will be an essential extension of this apprenticeship, offering them real immersion in demanding production conditions.
