Objective: Train participants to produce podcasts, from scriptwriting to technical production, focusing on local and global issues such as education, the environment and emigration.
Participant profile : Max 6 participants. This course is aimed at young people aged between 19 and 35, from the Ghomrassen and Tataouine regions, who are interested in the radio medium and want to get started in podcasting.
Schedule :
Session 1 – Training in documentary technique and storytelling: February 24 to 28, 2025.
Dedicated to the creation of podcasts, with a focus on technical and narrative skills:
Listening to and analyzing excerpts from documentary podcasts.
Learning basic techniques: sound recording and editing.
Scriptwriting: How to structure an effective and powerful story.
Pre-editing documentary productions.
Collaborative approach: Participants will work in groups, drawing on each other’s skills to develop a finished work.
Choice of themes in line with E-FEST Camp objectives: education, environment, emigration.
Session 2 – Webradio training: April 7 to 10, 2025 .
Accompany participants in the production of final episodes, with interviews conducted locally:
Production of sound design.
Work on the program log and choice of angles.
How to place your voice?
Preparing interviews, columns and interactions with the audience.
Session 3 – Public presentation: April 11 – 12 – 13, 2025
The podcasts produced will be broadcast in a dedicated, specially-designed space.
Presentation during the E-FEST Camp Agora: participants will lead a 1.5-hour session of exchange with the public, broadcast via live streaming.
Workshops open to the public: Participants, accompanied by members of Radio Basboussa, will lead introductory podcast workshops for festival-goers, giving the public a behind-the-scenes look at their training.
This workshop is organized in collaboration with the Casablanca-based studio Les Bonnes Ondes and Tunisia Podcasts.
