NOUR HARKATI & AYTMA
Navigating between reality and mysticism, author, composer and performer Nour Harkati plays with harmony and sensitivity. Born into a family of oriental classical musicians, it was in Berlin that he discovered new, more electronic sounds, leading him to explore new musical routes, which have given new depth and maturity to his music.
« Helwess » is a collaborative project between him and the « Aytma » (Brothers) collective, a group of musicians each with a different musical and professional background, made up of Youssef Soltana, Marwen Soltana, Selim Arjoun and Hedi Fahem. A collaboration aimed at cultural and artistic openness and a wider musical and sonic field of vision.

HINDI ZAHRA // SKANDER BESBES // SAIFEDDINE HELAL (Original Efest creation)
Hindi Zahra
Somewhere between folk ballads, urban soul, rock and desert blues, Hindi Zahra’s music bears the hallmark of crossbreeding and a taste for nomadism. The Prix Constantin 2010 winner knows no boundaries.
Born in Morocco, of Berber origin, her voice is full of emotion. Her music is an ancestral blues, an original jazz, an oriental vibe, where she speaks of love, self-affirmation, the world and what her encounters inspire in her.
Born into a family of artists that includes, among its most famous, the group Oudaden, she was introduced to traditional music, Dylan’s folk and Marley’s reggae, because all the world’s music resonates around her.
A self-taught musician and songwriter, Hindi Zahra is a multi-talented artist, so much so that the American magazine The Wire described her as the spiritual daughter of Django Rheinhardt and Billie Holiday. Suffice to say, she’s on the road to a great musical story.
Skander Besbes
Alias SKNDR, is a Tunisian musician, composer and producer. A pioneer of the electronic music scene for some twenty years, he has more recently been working as artistic director and accompanist for emerging artists such as Yuma.

With a keen eye for detail and sound aesthetics, Skander talks about his career and his beginnings in electro.
