Two evenings in Carthage Cathedral, devoted to live electronic music and the presentation of residency results. Eclectic, solo or in groups, emerging or established artists, this year’s program will showcase the most innovative and original contemporary creation.

GYMKHANA // PYR TO PYR // OUMAIMA MANAI – (Perf A/V & dance)
Pyr to Pyr is a light and sound performance installation. Pyr as in pyramid, since this is the shape taken by the machines developed by Minuitune’s engineers. Linked together in a network (like a peer-to-peer network!), they sculpt the space with smoke and lasers. Gymkhana’s (Fernando Favier) sound composition, fused with this geometrically rigorous light, creates an interactive, immersive environment whose audiovisual material is almost palpable! Gymkana is an artist working on the correlation between sound, light and movement.
For this performance at Efest, he will be joined by the talented Tunisian performer and choreographer Oumaima Manai, for whom  »dance is not the perfection of the body, or the beautý of the limbs, but rather the strength that has no limits, and the expression of the perfection of the spirit ».

N.M.O
A striking encounter between the North Sea and the Mediterranean, between outrageous synthesis and organic hype, N.M.O. is the project of Morten J. Olsen (of electric monsters MoHa! and Ultralyd) and visual artist Rubén Patiño.
N.M.O. is also, and above all, a shifting acronym that cuts across all stylistic contours, a conceptual art form riddled with fitness exercises, dance music, bludgeoned rhythms and absurdity. These demons roam the space in the midst of the public, offering them a crazy « Fluxus techno », a delightful « danceable military space music »…

FABRIZIO RAT
Fabrizio Rat is a pianist and techno producer with a unique sound universe, transforming his acoustic piano into a synthesizer and groove machine using DIY techniques!
Pianist with Cabaret Contemporain and the Magnetic Ensemble, he performs at festivals and clubs in Europe, the U.S. and Canada ! « La Machina », his first techno solo project, is a live performance combining acoustic piano and drum machine. His debut EP « La Machina » was released on the Optimo Trax label in January 2015.
He is also a member of the ambient trio « The Explosion » alongside Gilb’R and Giani Caserotto. Their debut album was released on Versatile Records in autumn 2015.
