Inspired by René Magritte’s famous painting « La voix de l’espace » (1928), which questions gravity via
enigmatic spherical objects projected into a vast blue sky, this interactive installation is composed of several metallic spheres of sound and light. Visitors are invited to insert their hands in the middle of these open spheres afin to trigger sounds and images.
that only they can hear through headphones.
A musical performance will be offered by the artists on the opening day. The public will be able to test the sampler’s functions and build their own sounds.
Three people can interact with the 7 spheres at the same time, creating melodic or noisy sounds together, collaboration between them being another defi of this installation.
