Introductory workshop to the basic techniques involved in building a small inflatable structure. Led by Collectif La BULLE.

Presentation:
In each of the 3 towns where these workshops will take place, we’ll help you create a hemispherical inflatable. The 3 hemispheres made with you will be the same shape, but of increasing dimensions. They will add up and stack up as the NO LOGO tour progresses, to form a single playful space, somewhere between a labyrinth, an ice palace and a seeing machine, between a sculpture and a tree house.
Topics covered:
Session/Day 1: Discovery and design
Quick introduction to the principle of inflatable architecture.
Presentation of the plans for the structure to be built. Presentation of the construction protocol.
Parts of the structure are cut to size.
Session/Day 2: Assembly and erection
Assembling the parts.
Inflating and installing the structure.
