Yvat is an electronic musician and sound designer based in Bucharest. Passionate about analog sounds and aesthetically close to the sensibilities of Autechre and Aphex Twin, Yvat has actively collaborated with Black Moon, a young prodigy of Romanian animated film, with whom he produced the DVD Subliminal Crush. These solo performances, or with Black Moon for the visual component, have been noticed at various Romanian and international electronic arts festivals, including Sonar (Barcelona), Club Transmediale (Berlin), City Sonics (Mons) and Transnumériques (Paris).
