Introduction to sound-visual creation (Live A/V) – Duration 4 days
Using a minimum of means (scientific knowledge and material resources), for a maximum of creativity, the aim of this workshop is to produce with participants a sound and visual work that can be controlled in real time: projection of geometric figures that interact with sound and control parameters.
Participants are immersed in the conditions of a real-time A/V (audiovisual) performance: acting on controllers to generate programmed visual and sound elements, while managing the temporal evolution of the semi-improvised performance and its context.
The workshop will be an opportunity for participants to create their own projects and discover the open source software « Processing », to familiarize themselves with the tool by creating graphic elements and manipulating sound effects and video loops projected onto a screen or other surface.
For the workshop, participants will be divided into five teams of students each. The most creative team project will be invited to present its performance to the public during the No Logo tour.
