    Podcasts in Arabic.

As part of E-FEST Camp 2025 in Ksar El Ferch, in the Tataouine region, Les Bonnes Ondes and Echos Electrik collaborated on a podcast training program. The program, entitled Basboussa, is divided into several stages, combining technical training, sensitive exploration of the region and creative production.

The initiative began in February with a workshop devoted to documentary podcasting. Participants were introduced to sound recording techniques, active listening and storytelling, while exploring their environment through the prism of sound. Equipped with their recorders, they criss-crossed the streets of Tataouine and surrounding towns to capture the voices, moods and vibrations of the region.

In April, the group gathered in Ksar El Ferch, the festival’s central venue, for a second phase devoted to creation. Using the materials collected, they created a sound documentary, broadcast through headphones, based on the testimonies gathered from local residents. At the same time, a live radio program was produced and broadcast from the festival site: a local voice, rooted in the territory, but looking out to the world.

This training program provided a space for participants and local residents to share the realities of the region from a human perspective. Through the topics addressed – the environment, immigration, education, daily life – participants gave voice to the concerns and hopes of their community.

Four episodes. Four sensitive stories, four listening and storytelling experiences. And, in the background, a conviction: that voice, as a tool for dignity and connection, must find its rightful place in our common future.
