This workshop is a behind-the-scenes look at the construction of the « A’QUANTIC » installation. Led by Mehdi Hadj Sassi & Vincent Sanjivy
Presentation:
During the few hours of the workshop, you’ll discover how to create a simple interaction with water, and create your own light and sound effects. Discover how to implement simple programs on Arduino and build the circuit that will link the Arduino to a sound synthesizer and LEDs. Light up the dark and make the placid vibrate. Mehdi and Vincent will guide you through the experiment, awakening the curiosity of each participant.
Topics covered :
Sound creation with a mini synthesizer, and the effects of sound frequencies on an aquatic surface.
Arduino, tactile interaction and electronic assembly.
Outputs :
Participants will be able to solder their own electrical circuit onto a perforated plate.
The participant will be able to interface sensors (micro, LDR, buttons) with an Arduino board.
The participant will be able to create a basic program on Arduino.
The participant will be able to control sound and light actuators (sound and RGB lights).
