Hoaxident is the fruit of a meeting between a DIY electronics engineer and sound machine designer, and a DIY musician in search of new interactions, combining acoustic and synthetic sound.
Gesture-controlled digital devices and tenor saxophone interweave, disrupt and enrich each other. Musical creation shapes visual content through hijacked TV sets. This analog bridge attempts to create a permeability of the senses, by decompartmentalizing sound waves and visual vibrations. The performance will highlight technological hijacking and sound improvisation.
