ANASS DOUJDID, known as « DOU », is a young artist who graduated from the Meknes Institute of Traditional Arts. Anass set out on his artistic path at an early age; at 14 he was already addicted to street art. His background as a craftsman opened up a host of horizons for him, with painting and woodcarving as his first allies, followed by pottery, clay, iron and sewing. Nothing escaped this young man who knew how to pull the right strings and forge strong links with the craftsmen of his hometown, to learn the basic rules of Moroccan craftsmanship in all its splendor and perfection.
In 2019, he won the GRAND PRIX AÏCHA® DE L’ANIMATION FICAM;
He holds his first solo exhibition « ZMITA » at the Uzine cultural center and then at the Institut Français in Meknes;
He takes part in the group exhibition XPO-FMR Hors Cadre at the HIBA Foundation.
And participated in the Rebellion exhibition with Siham Elyagoubi.
